Andrew Nelson is a musician and multi-instrumentalist with 15+ years of experience performing on a professional level as a solo guitarist and in various bands/ensembles. With a BM Degree in Jazz Performance, Andrew performs a variety of genres. He is a founding member of Pixie and the Partygrass Boys, a nationally touring band and 3x winner of the Best Local Band award by City Weekly Utah. Their album 'The Chicken Coop' was considered for the 2023 Grammys. While touring, Andrew has played countless venues and music festivals across the USA such as High Sierra, Jam Cruise, Bourbon and Beyond, Peach Fest and Del Fest. He has supported artists such as Billy Strings, Lake Street Dive, The California Honeydrops, Grace Potter, The Brothers Comatose, Andy Frasco, Fruition, The Infamous Stringdusters, Sierra Hull and more.
